About the Event
Heidi Fink is a chef, food writer, and award-winning culinary instructor, specializing in local ingredients and international cuisines. Previously Executive Chef of ReBar Modern Food restaurant in Victoria, Heidi now runs her own business teaching cooking classes and hosting culinary tours. In addition, she works as both a culinary instructor and instructional assistant in the Professional Cook Training program of Camosun College. She is the host of CHEK TV’s cooking show, Cookin’ on the Coast, and the chef representative for Vancouver Island’s own Country Grocer.

In this class, Chef Heidi will de-mystify the ingredients and techniques needed to create mouth-watering vegetables, grains, fruits, and legumes. Borrowing inspiration from her time in vegetarian restaurants, we will walk away with a better understanding of how to create a showstopping vegetarian meal. Take home recipes and ingredient guide will be provided.
Canapes, snacks, and dessert will be provided by HOB.
