About the Event

Heidi Fink is a chef, food writer, and award-winning culinary instructor, specializing in local ingredients and international cuisines. Previously Executive Chef of ReBar Modern Food restaurant in Victoria, Heidi now runs her own business teaching cooking classes and hosting culinary tours. In addition, she works as both a culinary instructor and instructional assistant in the Professional Cook Training program of Camosun College. She is the host of CHEK TV’s cooking show, Cookin’ on the Coast, and the chef representative for Vancouver Island’s own Country Grocer. www.chefheidifink.com

This evening's class will focus on the food of Southern India, demonstrating the wonderful spice combinations and cooking techniques unique to that region. Join Chef Heidi as she helps you explore this delicious cuisine with a taste of Kerala masala, homemade chutney, and seafood in a coconut curry sauce with fragrant basmati rice. Full meal and recipe booklet included.

    Let's dive in to the flavourful world of Thai cuisine! Join Chef Heidi' and learn how to get the most out of authentic Thai ingredients & cooking techniques. We will make a classic Shrimp Pad Thai and a Red Chicken Curry with jasmine rice. A dessert course will be served after the class. Take home recipes and ingredient guide will be provided. HOB team will provide canapes and snack during the class.
